Divine Wisdom

How do we relegate our intelligence with nature and its creation or god and his creation? We may feel proud of our intelligence, our uniqueness over all the creations of God/nature. Have we understood that even to protect our intelligence, nature has made several levels of check points/zebra crossings/rumble strips?Certain vital organs in our body suspect everything and only after preliminary scrutiny or check will allow anything to pass through. Our brain, believed to be housing our intelligence, suspects even the very blood that keeps the brain alive and functioning. Scientifically, it is called as blood-brain barrier. When the blood supply to the brain is cut off, the brain will die. But the brain does not accept even such a vital supply the way it comes. The barrier will check and only then it will allow the blood to flow. We feel intelligence is ours and, we own it. But nature/God has done it with exceptional care as to how it has to be protected. The exceptional protection is not for the man to be arrogant of his intelligence but, because the foolish man doesn’t know how to protect it. In rare cases, if one wants to use the intelligence, it has to be protected and hence such mechanism exists within us.The larger question is who wants to use the intelligence, when and for what. Who can be considered to be using his/her intelligence? Those who bow to nature/God with humility for the intelligence that have and, those who protect and safeguard the nature and its natural resources are alone considered wise.Another message one can derive from blood-brain barrier is that one must ‘suspect and check’ everything. The purpose of the above should be for creating a positive impact and not for creating confusion and commotion. Every action of ours before we act, we need to pass through a filter and every thought we need to validate before we act. Nature has created every ‘life’ with care and precision.Man can learn a lot from human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, etc. Let man learn this first and then he can learn to meditate or introspect. Learn to check what meaning one is giving to the incidents in the life. Is one giving uplifting meaning or whipping meaning. The meaning one gives determines one’s life. Learn to check what meaning you are giving to the incidents in the life. This should not make one tense, but alert and in that alertness resides the still but dynamic movement of intelligence. Like, how the mirror does not cling to the picture, do not cling to the incidents in life. Can one’s alertness include this non-attachment and at the same time stirring intelligently the ship of life? To keep this quality of mirroring makes one young in

Anger

Some people strongly believe that there is no way they can make other people understand their emotions and feelings during hard times without displaying anger. It is human nature that we tend to get in to anger mode when we are unable to accept or digest unfavorable things. There is nothing wrong with being angry once a while. The good part of is it gives a bit of relief. However the bad part is it drains positive energy, and it can create negativity in our mind. In fact anger makes mind weaker. While we are angry, whatever decisions we make at the moment will not be very effective. We need to explain these things that are bothering us to others in a more temperate way. Sometimes we lose respect of other people by showing bad temper frequently. If you get into anger mode, just think of a baby smiling or moving in the cradle for few seconds, or count one to ten and ask yourself to slow down and reanalyze the situations and respond accordingly. Try to use whichever techniques are most comfortable with, and come out of anger mode as quickly as possible and practice the same method repeatedly. At the same time, if you come across a situation where other people taking advantage of you, then just avoid them.

For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness. Therefore, it is not worth it.
